Engagement Session in Annapolis, MD

Oh hey! It's been a minute since I've blogged. Well, I had such a fun and awesome engagement session that sparked some inspiration in me to get back on the blog and share it with everyone!

Meet Derek and Jennifer. Jennifer is from the Annapolis area originally but now the two of them reside in Pittsburgh! They came down last weekend and we met up for their engagement session in scenic downtown Annapolis- AKA my old stomping grounds and where I only go now if I'm photographing something or want Joss sushi- lol.

We had literally the *perfect* weather. It wasn't muggy or humid at ALL and the sky was nice and clear.

Jennifer wore the cutest green dress that spoke to me since green is my absolute favorite color. What's even better is her bridesmaids dresses are emerald green!! Can't tell you how excited I am about that!

Ok so now to the fun stuff. We started on Main St. and hit up some of my favorite little side streets and alley ways. Then we made our way to the Maryland State House to take advantage of those beautiful gardens and lush green lawn. THEN we went down to the water where turns out, everyone and their mom was also hanging out to enjoy the beautiful weather....can't blame them! So after elbowing some people out of the way (lol kidding- I just found an open spot where no one else was) we got some nice shots down by the water where the setting sun was hitting perfectly giving them a nice glow.

Last but not least, it was time for blue hour. Since we were surrounded by buildings, we didn't get the full sky, but we did take some epic backlit shots in more alley ways (can you tell I love alley ways?).

I love how these turned out and am even more excited for their wedding next April!!
